Stan Getz – Moments in Time

Description

This never-before-released performance was recorded in 1976 at San Francisco’s Keystone Korner, and features the Stan Getz Quartet with tenor saxophonist Getz and his rhythm section of pianist Joanne Brackeen, bassist Clint Houston and drummer Billy Hart. This recording is a companion to Getz/Gilberto ’76 (also available in our web shop), also recorded at Keystone Korner the same week as Moments in Time. Both feature Stan Getz’s same adventurous rhythm section. Moments in Time and Getz/Gilberto ’76 document the only time this dynamic quartet recorded together.
